Congratulations on your engagement!

I'm Caitlin McDonald, owner and lead designer of Caitlin McDonald Events. I am recently married and an Oregon-native, now located in beautiful Bend, OR.

I've been in the wedding industry for over six years in both high level luxury venue management and wedding planning and absolutely LOVE it! Connecting with clients and learning about their love stories is my most favorite part of wedding planning... aside from curating the prettiest blooms, bringing together the right vendor team and wiping my tears while I listen to your vows. My wedding planning style for client weddings is to serve up some SERIOUSLY gorgeous looks, but to also create a wedding day that is totally reflective of my client and their wildest dreams.

You'll notice I love adding florals and different textures to elevate a table design and I'm a sucker for an al fresco dining experience with the perfect hand-selected chair. Creating custom-tailored experiences are my jam and if you want to discuss linens, I'm THERE.

Outside of wedding planning, I absolutely love hosting. You can find me doing mock-ups on my own dinner table; savoring a cup of espresso or trying out a new recipe in my kitchen. Gathering with my people & sitting around a beautifully decorated table is a top tier core memory for me.
