Located in San Francisco’s Presidio with sweeping views of the Golden Gate Bridge, the museum offered the perfect setting for a wedding that celebrated creativity, storytelling, and love in a way that felt elevated and intentional rather than themed.

A Celebration Rooted in Art + Personality

The design was inspired by the bold color palettes and graphic whimsy of Mary Blair, whose work shaped some of Disney’s most iconic films including Cinderella, Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland and so many others. That influence showed up through rich hues, layered textures, and unexpected details that felt joyful, modern, and sophisticated.

Custom stationery by Reesey Studio set the tone beautifully, introducing guests to the celebration through thoughtful illustration and elevated craftsmanship. The ceremony itself unfolded outdoors, framed by the Presidio landscape and iconic Golden Gate Bridge views — a truly unforgettable backdrop for such a meaningful moment.

Guest Experience, Thoughtfully Designed

One of the most memorable aspects of the day was the private cocktail hour within the museum galleries, allowing guests to explore the exhibits in an intimate, exclusive setting. This experience added a sense of discovery and wonder, perfectly aligned with the couple’s vision.

Later, Jen & Brian snuck away for portraits at nearby Lucasfilm, capturing playful moments with Yoda and droids — a fun, personal touch that felt completely authentic to them and added an element of surprise to the day.

This wedding was a true collaboration among an incredibly talented team, including Klose Up Beauty, Emerald City Gowns, and Elena Illustrated, whose live artwork added another meaningful layer to the guest experience.
